The Federation of Indo-American Seniors Association of North America (FISANA) celebrated its Silver Jubilee on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Royal Albert’s Palace in Fords, New Jersey.
Among the elected officials in attendance were Woodbridge Mayor John E. McCormac and Edison Mayor Sam Joshi, who joined the community in honoring this significant milestone.
Piyush Patel, chair of FISANA, shared his vision for the future, emphasizing the creation of a central database and a dedicated call line to assist seniors in times of need. His commitment to enhancing support for the senior community was well received by attendees.
Dr. Sudhir Parikh, the first chairman of FISANA, expressed gratitude to Suresh Patel for organizing the event. He also highlighted the elaborate decorations that beautifully symbolized India’s rich culture. Dr. Parikh credited FISANA for amplifying the voice of Indo-American seniors across North America and was recognized for his valuable service to the organization.
