Lamborghini introduced the Temerario GT3 over the summer, and now they’ve unveiled the Temerario Super Trofeo concept. The concept was showcased at the Misano World Circuit last weekend, previewing the race car set to make its track debut in 2027. Designed to replace the Huracán Super Trofeo, this latest model is billed as the “ultimate expression of our fun-to-drive philosophy.”

Sharing several components with the Temerario GT3, including its engine and transmission, the Temerario Super Trofeo is positioned as the ideal entry point for those eager to experience the world of GT competition. Although Lamborghini hasn’t revealed many details about the car, the concept features an aggressive exterior design with canards, a prominent front splitter, ventilated fenders, sporty side skirts, and what appears to be lightweight plexiglass. The styling is complemented by a sizable rear wing and a massive diffuser, enhancing both aerodynamics and track presence.

### Pure V8 Power, No Hybrid Technology

While specifics remain limited, Lamborghini confirmed that the Temerario Super Trofeo is powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that deliberately forgoes hybrid technology. It produces 641 hp (478 kW / 650 PS) and drives the rear wheels. This output sits between the 907 hp (677 kW / 920 PS) Temerario and the 542 hp (405 kW / 550 PS) Temerario GT3.

Lamborghini describes this power level as the perfect fit for gentleman racers. The engine is mated to a six-speed sequential transmission from Hoer, offering quick and precise gear changes on the track.

### Advanced Chassis and Racing Components

The race car boasts an “ALU/CFK hybrid chassis” complete with a fully integrated FIA roll cage to ensure safety and rigidity during competition. It also features ABS brakes and an adjustable traction control system with 12 settings, allowing drivers to tailor performance to their skill level and track conditions.

Additional performance components are implied to include a Capristo exhaust system, BMC air filters, and KW suspension parts — all aimed at maximizing handling and power delivery.

### Premium Interior Materials

Inside, drivers will find a dashboard upholstered with Dinamica Infinity, which Lamborghini highlights as the “world’s first 100% PES mono-component non-woven suede used in automotive applications.” This sporty yet refined material underscores the car’s focus on both performance and driver experience.

### Lamborghini’s Vision for the Track

Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann commented on the new concept: “Lamborghini was not born as a racing brand, yet our customers have constantly asked us for a product designed for the track.”

He added, “With the Temerario Super Trofeo we are taking another decisive step, reaffirming our promise to deliver a pure race car for the growing community that joins us during the Lamborghini Super Trofeo weekends.”

The Temerario Super Trofeo promises to be a thrilling addition to Lamborghini’s racing lineup, blending aggressive design, potent V8 power, and advanced technology to excite both enthusiasts and gentleman racers alike. Fans eagerly await its official debut on the track in 2027.
