**Melissa McCarthy to Host Saturday Night Live on December 6, with Dijon as Musical Guest**
Nov. 16 (UPI) — Bridesmaids star Melissa McCarthy is set to host an upcoming episode of NBC’s iconic sketch-comedy show, *Saturday Night Live*, on December 6.
Joining McCarthy as the musical guest for the episode is singer-songwriter Dijon, promising a night filled with both comedy and music.
Season 51 of *Saturday Night Live*, based in New York, kicked off in October. This past weekend’s edition was hosted by Glen Powell, known for his role in *The Running Man*.
The series will take a two-week hiatus due to the Thanksgiving holiday, giving fans a brief pause before returning with more laughter and entertainment.
