Stefon Diggs is taking legal action against an influencer over defamation amid serious allegations. The New England Patriots star has been accused by influencer Christopher Blake Griffith of “sexually assaulting” and “drugging” him. According to TMZ, Griffith also claims that Diggs was conspiring to have him killed in order to “suppress his gay/bisexual secrets from becoming exposed.”
Griffith alleges that the incident took place at Diggs’ home in Rockville, Maryland, in May 2023. He states that Diggs invited him and other influencers to a charity basketball game in Washington, D.C., and that the alleged assault occurred days after the event.
Stefon Diggs has denied all allegations, calling them “nonsense.” He responded by addressing his tens of thousands of followers and tagging the NFL and Patriots social media accounts, as well as Uggs, a brand with which he has a sponsorship deal.
Griffith’s attorney, Jake Lebowitz, commented on the case, saying, “Mr. Griffith is looking forward to showing the world in court that, regardless of the fairy tale fabricated by Mr. Diggs’ high-priced New York lawyers, he is the victim of Mr. Diggs’ unwanted sexual advances and his brother’s violent attacks.”
In response, Diggs is suing Griffith for defamation and is seeking to have his attorney reinstated. He is also pursuing damages, although the exact amount has not been disclosed. The details of how this case will proceed in court remain unclear.
