MANILA, Philippines — Ateneo had to dig deep for its second straight win in the UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball tournament.
The Blue Eagles escaped with a narrow 62-60 victory over the University of the East on Wednesday at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion. This win keeps Ateneo’s record unblemished after two games.
While the team’s performance was not their best, the victory demonstrated their resilience and determination in a closely contested match.
