MANILA, Philippines — Wilfredo Leon is raring to win his first gold for Poland in the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship.
Leon missed Poland’s ‘three-peat’ bid in the World Championship 2022 due to a knee injury, as the host lost to Italy in the final.
Now facing Italy again in the semifinal, the 32-year-old outside hitter is determined to help his team secure the championship title.
