Insomniac Games closed out today’s PlayStation State of Play with an exciting new look at *Marvel’s Wolverine*, the next superhero game from the team behind *Spider-Man*.
The blood-soaked trailer showcases the iconic X-Men member as he slashes enemies and tears them apart with brutal efficiency. Fans will also be thrilled to learn that the game features Mystique, an iconic Marvel villain and frequent adversary of the X-Men. Additionally, Wolverine is seen battling the formidable Omega Red.
More familiar characters were teased by the developers, hinting at a rich cast that players can look forward to.
According to the PlayStation Blog, *Marvel’s Wolverine* delivers a global thriller experience. Wolverine’s search for answers will take him on perilous journeys to exotic locales, including the island nation of Madripoor, the frozen wilderness of Canada, and the narrow city streets of Tokyo.
