As someone who lives in a one-bedroom apartment, I have to declutter my house frequently to keep it organized. With the holidays coming up, storage space is top-of-mind. I’m already panicked about where I’ll store my holiday gifts (and later, the gifts I’ll receive from friends and family). This week felt like the perfect time for a purge, so here’s everything I’m throwing out ASAP. I made a promise to myself: Clear out excess clutter before traveling for Thanksgiving break. Think seasonal items, like winter clothing and outdated holiday decorations, to mess that’s slowly been collecting, like my embarrassing pile of reusable grocery bags and tangle of charging cords. Of course, when I say throw away, I also mean donate and recycle when possible! Items in good condition can be donated to local thrift stores, charities, and animal shelters.
