Where Winds Meet features a variety of weapon combos to use, resulting in some fun gameplay styles. However, there are times when you want to finish a quest quickly or farm resources, but don’t want to spend time fighting. It’s when having the ability to take down enemies without altering others comes in handy. Luckily, you can also use a Stealth build alongside your main build. It’s fun, easy to set up, and doesn’t need specific weapons or Martial Arts to work. This guide will walk you through everything you’ll need to get a Stealth build ready in Where Winds Meet. Stealth build setup in Where Winds Meet and how it works Going Stealth can have many benefits. For instance, if you’re playing on Expert difficulty, there’s no Deflection assist, making combat a lot more challenging. A better approach in this situation will be to take out as many enemies as possible without alerting everyone. To do so, you’ll need to have two specific Mystic Skills unlocked. These are the Veil of Stillness and Touch of Death. Using the two together will help you one-shot regular enemies and strip down at least 80% health from elites. Here’s everything you need to know about the two skills: Veil of Stillness The Veil of Stillness is one of the early Mystic Skills you’ll unlock in Where Winds Meet. If you’re playing to acquire various Martial Arts in the game, you’ll need to unlock this skill first by completing the ‘Skill Theft: Unearned Lesson’ exploration quest. What this skill does is turn you semi-invisible, which makes it harder for enemies to detect you. You’re still a shadow moving around, so getting too close will break the Stealth. There’s an indicator that shows whether you’re within detection range. If the bar turns white, enemies suspect someone is there; if it’s yellow, they will move towards it and ultimately break the Stealth. A good way to avoid that is to use Wind Sense (press V), which shows the detection range in red. Touch of Death Now that you’re almost undetectable, it’s easier to flank enemies and ambush them from outside their range of detection. It’s where Touch of Death will shine. The skill allows you to perform a high-damage single-hit attack to deal massive damage, but it only works if the enemies are unaware of your presence. To unlock this Mystic Skill, you need to complete a puzzle on the wall during Volume I Echoes of Old Battles side quest in Where Winds Meet. However, simply unlocking the skill isn’t the end of the build. To make it more effective as your enemies level up, you also need to upgrade Touch of Death. How to make the Stealth Build stronger in Where Winds Meet? Increasing the level in Solo Mode also increases the minimum enemy level, which grants them more HP. You can do so by navigating to the Mystic Skill inside the Abilities section. From there, head to the ‘General’ tab and find the skill under ‘Passive’. You’ll need lots of Ebon Iron to upgrade Touch of Death and different Breakthrough materials to upgrade the tier. There’s a limit on how much you can upgrade as per the character level, so the next best thing is to increase your own damage. At the base level, Touch of Death already has a very high damage multiplier. However, it’s only as good as the damage you deal. To check your personal damage, click on ‘Details’ in the Abilities section and look for ‘Physical Attack’ under Combat Attributes. That is the damage your skill is multiplying. As for what build to use if you do have to fight enemies, we have many to pick from: Best Healer build guide in Where Winds Meet Best Ranged DPS build guide in Where Winds Meet Best Tank build guide in Where Winds Meet Our suggestion would be the best Melee DPS build with the Twinblades and Ropedart combo to give you real shadow assassin vibes. That’s all you need to have a Stealth build. One last thing to note is that Stealth will not work against bosses or any enemy that shows a big health bar on top of your screen.
