Lowell Resident Wins $600K Mass Cash Prize
Nicholas Budesky, of Lowell, recently claimed an additional $600,000 in Mass Cash grand prizes, adding to the $500,000 he had previously won in November. All his winnings came from the game’s midday drawing on Friday, November 14.
Budesky celebrated his win by taking a party bus along with his family to the Massachusetts State Lottery headquarters in Dorchester to claim his prizes. He won by playing a set of numbers representing birthday and anniversary dates. Budesky played these numbers a total of 11 times, winning a combined total of $1.1 million in Mass Cash prizes in a single drawing.
He claimed the first portion of his winnings on November 17, and the remaining prizes on January 9. After his most recent visit to the Lottery headquarters, Budesky and his family went out to lunch and then headed to the airport to celebrate with a trip to Florida. Beyond the trip, he plans on saving the rest of his winnings.
Budesky purchased his winning tickets at BJ’s Wholesale Club, located at 100 Corporate Drive in Franklin. The store will receive a $6,000 bonus for selling these winning tickets, adding to the $5,000 bonus earned from the previously claimed prizes.
