**Lucknow to Host 19th National Jamboree in November 2025: A Grand Platform for Youth Empowerment**

The 19th National Jamboree, scheduled for November 2025 in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, promises to be much more than just a camping event. Organized by the Bharat Scouts and Guides, this prestigious gathering will serve as a transformative experience, providing new direction and inspiration for thousands of young people from across India and around the world.

### A Gathering of Thousands

The event will see the participation of around 30,000 youth from all over the country alongside 2,000 foreign delegates. This remarkable assembly aims not only to strengthen the scouting movement but also to prepare responsible, self-reliant citizens who can contribute meaningfully to society.

### Hosting & National Unity

Thanks to the efforts of the Yogi government, Uttar Pradesh has been honored with the opportunity to host the National Jamboree after a 61-year gap. Through this grand event, the message of national unity will be widely disseminated, reinforcing the spirit of collective identity and cooperation among the country’s youth.

### Building Leadership and Life Skills

One of the key contributions of the Jamboree is the development of leadership qualities in young participants. Living together in a temporary tent city with limited resources, they will learn crucial skills such as self-reliance, discipline, and effective time management. These invaluable experiences help shape the youth into confident leaders who are equipped to serve society and the nation.

### Promoting Cultural Diversity and Global Brotherhood

The Jamboree offers a unique platform for youth to meet peers from different states of India and various countries worldwide. Through meaningful dialogue and active participation, attendees will deepen their understanding of cultural diversity and strengthen the spirit of global brotherhood. This aligns with India’s ancient tradition of *Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam* — the world is one family.

### Environmental Awareness and Social Service

Over the course of this five-day event, participants will engage in projects focused on environmental protection and social service. These activities aim to nurture a strong sense of responsibility and social sensitivity among the youth, inspiring them to work passionately for society’s betterment and the nation’s progress.

### Adventure, Learning, and Lifelong Friendships

The Jamboree experience extends beyond learning and leadership—it includes adventure activities, cultural performances, scientific exploration, and teamwork exercises. These diverse experiences prepare youth for success in every sphere of life. The friendships and memories formed here often last a lifetime, marking one of the most important milestones for those associated with scouting.

### State-of-the-Art Facilities at Lucknow’s Defence Expo Ground

A grand tent city is being developed at Lucknow’s Defence Expo Ground, equipped with world-class facilities to accommodate 32,000 participants and 3,000 staff members. The Bhoomi Pujan ceremony will take place on September 29, attended by senior ministers of the Yogi government. The event’s official inauguration will be led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 24, while the President of India will conclude the Jamboree on November 28.

### Supporting National Priorities

The 19th National Jamboree aligns closely with Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a disciplined, self-reliant, and responsible youth powering India’s development. It also supports critical national initiatives like Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India), Swachh Bharat (Clean India), and the pursuit of a Green and Sustainable India.

The 19th National Jamboree 2025 will undoubtedly mark a new chapter in India’s scouting movement. It promises to inspire and guide thousands of young individuals from India and abroad, leaving a lasting impact on their lives and contributing to the nation’s bright future.
