CHICAGO (WLS) — Two armed suspects took a man into an SUV and robbed him at gunpoint before dropping him off at another location downtown early Saturday, Chicago police said.
The incident occurred in the River North neighborhood’s 200-block of West Ontario Street around 4:45 a.m.
According to police, the two suspects exited a dark-colored SUV and approached a 29-year-old man who was outside. They then forced the man into the vehicle, brandished a gun, and demanded his belongings.
After the robbery, the suspects dropped the victim off in the 300-block of West Illinois Street. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Area detectives are currently investigating the incident. Further information was not immediately available.
