CHICAGO (WLS) — A man was killed in a drive-by shooting on Chicago’s South Side Saturday evening.
The incident occurred around 5:08 p.m. in the 7700 block of South Racine Avenue in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood, according to Chicago police.
A 19-year-old man was inside a residence when an unknown offender in a vehicle outside opened fire, police said. The victim was shot in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.
Area detectives are currently investigating the shooting. Further information was not immediately available.
