‘They love to use cats as an insult’: Male boss belittles 28-year-old female employee for loving cats and not wanting children, she claps back and considers reporting him to HR

People have been throwing around “crazy cat lady” as an insult for decades. It’s sad to say that we haven’t progressed much when it comes to the purrfectly hurtful and pawsitively untrue stereotypes towards cat lovers, unfortunately. While on a flight with her male superior, a female stewardess was forced into some uncomfortable small talk about children, where she explained that she didn’t want kids, which was absolutely unheard of, according to her boss, who insisted she will be lonely with only her cats to comfort her in her old age. As if that’s an insult at all, we would be happy to be surrounded by the love of cats when we’re old. She thankfully got out of the situation, and now she’s heavily considering reporting him to HR. If you ask us, she absolutely should. We guarantee you that if she had been a dog-lover, he never would have said something like that. We don’t know why it’s assumed that all cat lovers will end up sad, lonely, and in dirty houses with 100 cats. Cats are excellent companions, and yes, it is easy to accumulate them if you take in strays from the street, but that doesn’t mean we’re all going to end up with more litter boxes than floor space. We hope she reports him and his punishment is to learn about how much love a cat can give. Then he’ll realize how wrong he was, and maybe he’ll learn a thing or two about compassion in the process.

Orange kitten gets adopted by cat mom whose 9-year-old kitty crossed the rainbow bridge, she promptly returns to adopt his bonded brother to keep her feline family purrfectly whole

It sounds purrfectly counterintuitive. Adopt another kitten? Why would we willingly bring a second possessed creature into our homes when we already can’t control one of them? But logic isn’t always “right”, especially when it comes to our feline friends. If you have two kittens, they play with each other, learn from each other, and feel safe together. Cats are very sensitive to change, even kittens! Bringing any cat into a new home, no matter the age, is stressful for them, so if they have a buddy, they’re bound to get through it quicker and more healthily. That brings us to our kittens below. The cat mom who adopted them only adopted one at first. She lost her 9-year-old cat to liver failure and decided it was time to bring more feline energy back into her life. So she went and adopted half of a pair of bonded brothers. But when she got home, she felt guilty about leaving the other one behind. Knowing that sometimes two is better than one, she went back and adopted his brother also. Now their feline family is purrfectly whole, pawsitively fluffy, and 100% orange. We can’t imagine a better family than that.

‘I just saved a cat from my walls’: Kind homeowner saves 4-week-old kitten after hearing mysterious meowing from a purrfectly perilous location – inside his bathroom wall

We had the opposite problem of this kind homeowner below we had rats in our walls once. It was awful. We couldn’t sleep from hearing them moving in the wall behind us at night. Thankfully, that’s all behind us, and we would trade rats scurrying for mysterious wall meowing any day. But even if it’s as cute as meowing, it’s still pawsitively concerning. Meowing from inside the walls usually means that something is stuck there, and you’ll have to tear down at least part of the wall to get it out. After two days of not knowing where it was coming from, the tenant called a maintenance crew to check it out. They found a four-week-old kitten stuck back there, and they couldn’t get it out. So, he took matters into his own paws and, with the help of a few friends, got the cute kitty out of the wall and is now safely being cared for. Soon, he’ll get vaccinated, dewormed, and start living his fluffy life to its fullest. And it’s all thanks to a hammer and some wet food!.
