Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University Booked For Forgery, Illegal Law Course; Fined ₹28 Lakh For Land Encroachment
Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University, Barabanki, has been booked for cheating and forgery after allegedly running an unapproved law course for three years. The UP Higher Education Commission filed the complaint. In another case, the revenue dept fined the varsity ₹27.96 lakh for encroaching six bighas of govt land, ordering eviction in 30 days.
