Currently, there are three Elite Pirates in the game:
Quest[]
The quest giver called Elite Hunter is located at Castle on the Sea. Interacting with them reveals the island where the Elite Pirate is located if it has not been defeated. These islands are Port Town, Hydra Island, Great Tree, and Floating Turtle.

- Once the player defeats 5 Elite Pirates, they can receive the Pretty Helmet accessory from talking to Lunoven.
- Once the player defeats 30 Elite Pirates, they can retrieve Yama located under the waterfall at Hydra Island. Although 30 is not a requirement, it guarantees the player's ability to pull out the sword.

On the back of the hill near the Stone spawn location, opposite the Port Town docks.
There are 5 spawn locations in Hydra Island.
At Giant Islanders' spawn.
Under the hill with Dragon Crew Archers.
Under the hill with Dragon Crew Archers but slightly closer to the waterfall.
There are 2 spawn locations in Great Tree.
In "Banana fruit" spawn.
Near Marine Commodore's spawn, on a sloped hill.
There are 7 spawn locations in Floating Turtle.
On the hill behind and to the right of the Mansion.
Behind Captain Elephant's spawn, in the plains.
Behind the Musketeer Pirates spawn location and in front of Master of Auras spawn.

- Only one Elite Pirate can exist at once in every server.
- Elite Pirates cannot despawn.
- The player must deal the last hit on the Elite Pirate to get the rewards.
- Elite Pirates are decent for gaining Mastery because they are not too hard to find and give a good amount of mastery EXP.
- Elite Pirates are one of three ways to obtain God's Chalice. It is also the most efficient way to obtain it.
- Buddha is recommended to defeat them because of its ability to take down opponents quickly, but it is not recommended to switch if not wanted.
- Portal is also recommended, as it makes the task of locating the Elite Pirates much easier (by using [C] World Warp). Still, it is also not suggested to switch if not wanted or not max level.
Trivia[]
- Elite Pirates are one of two ways to obtain Yama, the Player Hunter being the alternative.
- There is no requirement to take the Elite Hunter quest.
- For an unknown reason, it is possible to hit them without Aura using Melee.
- It is recommended for the player to use Instinct to more easily locate Elite Pirates.
